A twin-wall system is an insulated flue built up from the stove — either inside, through the floors and out at the ridge, or out through the wall and up the outside.
The insulation does two jobs: it keeps the gases hot enough for the fire to draw properly, and it keeps the outside of the pipe cool enough to run safely past timber.

- Every floor and ceiling the flue passes through gets a proper fire stop, with the clearances the manufacturer specifies.
- Garden rooms and workshops
- The same system on a smaller scale, and usually the quickest and cheapest way to get a stove in.
